A daily online auction workflow built around thoroughbred buyers, sellers, consignors, breeders, and trainers.

Seller submits a listing
The seller enters horse details, location, category, gender, seller contact information, photos, video, and documents for review.

AtTheGate reviews the lot
Admin checks the submission, purchases and attaches Equibase Lifetime Past Performances where applicable, and approves the listing.

Buyers inspect and bid
Buyers review the catalog page, ask the seller questions, arrange pre-bid inspection if needed, and place live or proxy bids.

Auction closes
Soft-close timing protects late bidding, then the high bidder and seller are connected to complete the transaction within the required window.

Payment and logistics
Buyer and seller handle payment, transfer documents, insurance, health papers, and shipping directly according to the auction rules.
