What does it cost to sell?

The listing fee is $175 per lot and includes free Equibase Lifetime Past Performances (plus Arion and Racing Post PPs for international listings). On a successful sale, a 4% commission is charged on the hammer price. If reserve is not met, a $125 no-sale fee applies. Launch special: the first 10 listings pay a $0 listing fee and only 3% commission with no minimum, plus a $100 no-sale fee.

Racehorses, weanlings, yearlings, broodmares (open and in foal), stallions, and stallion seasons — listed daily.

How long do auctions run?

Listings run from 48 hours up to 10 days. Stallion season listings can run up to 21 days.

The purchase price is paid directly from buyer to seller. AtTheGate is a marketplace and is not a party to that transaction, but we require confirmation of completion from both parties to maintain future auction eligibility.

Can I edit a live listing?

Yes. Admin can edit any part of a listing even after it has gone live in the catalog.
